Assessing optic nerves can be challenging especially if they are anomalous and
differentiating them from true swelling is important. We feel the weight of
responsibility as papilloedema can reflect serious intracranial pathology. This
seminar will look at clinical cases of optic discs and review the most common cause
of papilloedema, Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension. This will give you useful
clinical pearls that you can apply in your daily practice, where often you are the first
to detect the abnormality.
