The Hydrus Microstent is one of several minimally invasive glaucoma surgery procedures that can now be offered to patients with glaucoma. While the procedure is fast, safe and effective, patients need to be reminded that regular follow up appointments with their eye health professional remain essential.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
1. Understand the role of ocular hypotensives in the treatment of glaucoma,
2. Understand the mode of action of the Hydrus Microstent,
3. Be aware of peer reviewed efficacy and safety studies of the Hydrus Microstent, and
4. Recognise the need for patient management following MIGS Surgery.
