Webinar: Tue, May 11, 2021 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM AEST

This will be a 1-hour webinar presented live by Professor Paul Mitchell and Sabine Ostrowski (MDFA National Manager- Healthcare Relations) via Gotowebinar. It will be accessible by all Luxottica Optometrists across Australia and New Zealand. We will be discussing the prognostic retinal biomarkers that may indicate increased risk of progression of intermediate AMD, the signs of neovascular AMD and their detection when using OCT and OCT-A.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  1. Describe and identify prognostic biomarkers that may indicate higher risk of progression from intermediate AMD to vision loss (neovascular AMD or geographic atrophy)
  2. Identify and evaluate neovascular signs in AMD using OCT and colour retinal photography
  3. Identify additional insights OCT-A can provide over OCT in neovascular AMD diagnosis.
