An online course covering the topics of the 'Declaration of Independence', ' The Treaty of Waitangi', 'Historical Context and 'Maori Health Disparities'. This course allows participants to understand the history of the Treaty of Waitangi, the cultural diversity within New Zealand and how this impacts Maori health services. The course only takes between 1 and 3 hours to complete depending on your prior knowledge.

It is a Board requirement that some form of Treaty learning is incorporated within your first 2 years of registration with the Board. 'Maori Healthcare and the Treaty of Waitangi' is a Board accredited course that can fulfil these requirements.
