In Australia and New Zealand MiSight 1 day has been approved for correcting and controlling the progression of myopia. The US Food & Drug Administration approved the lens most recently, joining Canada and several countries in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

This article provides clinical insights and strategies to help eye care professionals incorporate MiSight 1 day contact lenses into their treatment plan for their young patients with myopia.

1. Understand the lifetime risks of vision impairment associated with high myopia compared to contact lens-associated microbial keratitis,
